Chatham Web Design exists because of a specific, extremely common experience: a small business owner pays somebody for a website, waits three months, and gets back something slow, generic, and impossible to edit — having never once been told a straight price.

That happens so often it has stopped being remarkable. Most agencies hide behind contact forms and vague quotes because the number changes depending on how much they think you can pay. The work gets subcontracted somewhere cheap. The person who sold it to you is not the person building it, and neither of them will be there in a year.

We wanted to run the opposite of that. Prices published on the website. A US-based team you can actually reach. Work done in-house by the people you spoke to. Your domain in your name. And no lock-in — the first year of hosting is included, and if you ever want to take the site somewhere else, we will help you move it.

We have worked with local businesses and creatives, with executives, with high-growth brands and enterprise-level companies. The through-line is not the size of the client. It is that they wanted somebody to be straight with them.

We are a service-area business rather than a shopfront. Projects run over phone, email and video, which is faster for everyone than arranging to sit in a room. What we are not is a call center with a local number pointed somewhere else — we are actually here.

Home is Savannah and Chatham County. We work throughout coastal Georgia — Pooler, Garden City, Port Wentworth, Tybee, the islands, Richmond Hill, Rincon, Hinesville — and up to Statesboro and Bulloch County. Beyond that we still take the work, and we are honest that the local knowledge is sharpest close to home.
